Cedars Golf Club opened for play in 1963. The course was designed by Russel Case.
Cedars Golf Club plays to a maximum 9-hole distance of 1,120 yards and a par-27. The Cedars Golf Club golf course was built on sixteen acres of land on Long Island. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on three holes. Some of the larger trees can alter your shots, and some elevation changes take place on the fairways. Most of the tee boxes are elevated. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.
With the avearge hole playng to 124 yards, this is the place to practice your short irons and putter. The Cedars Golf Club course is short and sweet. Cedars is perfect to practice a short game and the greens can be challenging. Woods are not necessary for this course.

Little Par 3 but beautiful setting and kept in great shape. Other than 1 175 yd hole that plays a little less, all you need is putter to 8 or 9 iron. Great place to practice your short game. Staff is great.
